Next week we will be in Canada. I just got our book basket books from the library and they look interesting! There are so many reasons I'm enjoying homeschooling, but one of the best things is how much I am learning, too! I love it!

Week 6, ECC
This was our last week in Mexico and we decorated our dining room with Mexican paper flowers! The girls had a blast making the flowers from tissue paper. This week was pretty much same old, same old. We had a Bible verse from Matthew that we memorized. Audrey had a review of her first five weeks of Spelling words. Geography was all about Mexico and playing the Geography game. Science was all about deserts and oases. Music was all about songs from Central America and that was fun! Adam is still singing the song "El Coqui." We are still reading about Cameron Townsend and the book is very interesting! I don't know how much Audrey and Adam are getting out of this, but I know that Abby, Andrew, and I are enjoying learning about Christian heroes.

Those paper flowers look like so much fun! You should hang some from the ceiling of the girls' room, too! :)
ReplyDeleteI love learning with the kids, as well. So far, I've only picked up some reading "rules" that I never knew existed. However, I am looking forward to learning to love history and science, two subjects that just have never done it for me. Yea for learning!
